I am alone, can I book a single passenger tour?

While we charge prices based per person, we only book in pairs of two's. That being said, if we find two singles wanting to go on the same day, we will match you up but we currently do not have a system in place to sign up as a single and match you. We are currently exploring options for a solution.

Is there a weight restriction?

There is a weight restriction. The maximum passenger weight for two that we are able to fly with is 400 pounds. If you exceed that weight, unfortunately for safety reasons, we cannot fly. This weight restriction can fluctuate based on how much fuel is currently in the plane as well as the pilot's weight fluctuating (he works out!). Due to aircraft loading and safety requirements, Ottawa Biplane Adventures has the right to limit, arrange &/or deny passenger loading at their sole discretion.

What kinds of payment do you accept?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard & Debit accepted. Gift Certificates & Customized Packages available. We do not accept American Express, travelers cheques, and foreign currency. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Do you fly during the rain and high winds? If I booked for a day that has forcasted to be bad weather, what do I do?

All rides are subject to weather and aircraft serviceability. We will not fly if there is any danger to the passengers which could be from heavy rain and wind. If you booked for a day where there will be mucky weather, after checking the radar that morning we will call to notify you, only if we are not flying that day. If you are VERY worried and want to reschedule, you can call us and we will do what we can but please assume the best until notified.

We are running late due to traffic/personal reasons/etc, what happens?

It depends on how late you are going to be. If you will be 5-10 minutes late, please call and we will try to make arrangments. If you are 30 minutes late, we will either reschedule you for the next flight available that day, or cancel to be fair to other customers who are on time.

Can I fly over my house or a specific location?

You can speak with the pilot to make requests, but there are no guarantees. If you want to go on a tour that is longer than our Eco tour, the pilot will provide you with the cost of said tour.
